VPG Grading Standards
GEM-MT 10
This card is in an almost perfect condition, with virtually no noticeable imperfections. Both the front and back have fewer than 3 spots, and the centering is impeccable.
MINT 9
Overall in excellent condition, the card may exhibit a few minor imperfections. The front may have dings, scratches, or marks less than 2mm in length, while the back may have up to 5mm.
NM-MT 8
Generally in good condition, a few minor imperfections might be visible. The front may have dings, scratches, or marks less than 2mm in length, and the back might have up to 5mm.
NM 7
Decent in condition but may show slightly more noticeable minor imperfections. The front can have imperfections up to 4mm in length, while the back can go up to 10mm.
EX-MT 6
A moderate-condition card with several points of attention. The front may have marks up to 5mm, and the back can go up to 12mm.
EX 5
A mid-grade card with various visible imperfections. The front can have imperfections up to 7mm, and the back might have up to 15mm.
VG-EX4
The card is in a slightly subpar condition with evident flaws in multiple places. The front can have dings or scratches up to 10mm, and the back might have up to 20mm.
VG 3
This card requires careful storage. While it maintains its overall form, it clearly shows defects. The front may have marks up to 15mm, and the back can go up to 25mm.
GOOD 2
In poorer condition, this card exhibits significant flaws in various parts. The front may have imperfections up to 20mm, while the back can reach 30mm.
FAIR 1
Heavily damaged, the card's overall structure may be severely compromised. In most cases, its value as a collectible is significantly diminished.
